Single Row Angular Contact Ball Bearing

Single row angular contact ball bearings are precision-engineered to support combined radial and axial loads in applications where high rotational speeds and rigidity are required. Unlike standard radial ball bearings, the raceways are offset, creating a defined contact angle (typically 15°, 25°, or 40°) that allows the bearing to carry significant thrust loads in one direction.

These bearings are widely used in pairs or sets to accommodate axial loads in both directions and achieve higher stiffness.

Modals: 7200 series, 7300 series, 7000 series, 71800 series, 71900 series

Precision: P6,P5, P4, P2

ZMS is a professional supplier for single row angular contact ball bearings in China for 15 years, we not only supply standard modals with stocking, but also can custom made as customers’ requirements by applications.

01

Main Advantages

Superior axial load capacity compared to deep groove ball bearings
Very good running behavior under rapid acceleration/deceleration
Low friction and heat generation at high speeds
Universally matchable versions (e.g., UA, UL, UO) for precise preload/clearance without adjustment
Available in open, sealed (2RS), or shielded (ZZ) executions

Contact Angle

15° Contact Angle: Bearings with a 15° angle are better suited for high-speed applications where radial loads are predominant. They can handle moderate axial loads.
25° Contact Angle: This angle offers a balance between handling radial and axial loads, making it versatile for various applications.
40° Contact Angle: A 40° contact angle is ideal for applications where axial load capacity is crucial. These bearings can handle significant axial loads compared to those with smaller contact angles.
