Slewing Drive
Slewing drive—also known as slewing reducer or turntable reducer—is a fully rotatable reduction transmission mechanism that integrates a drive power source.
It utilizes a slewing bearing as both the driven component and the structural mounting point by attaching the driving element, power source, and housing to one race (inner or outer) while using the other as the driven component and mounting base, the unit integrates the functions of rotation, speed reduction, and driving.
ZMS can supply gear-type and worm-gear-type slewing drives including series SE/PE Series, WEA Series, WE Series, Double-row ball slewing drives, Dual-worm slewing drives. We can also custom made slewing drives as customer requirements.
They are widely used on construction machinery, solar tracking systems, industrial robots, and wind power equipment, meeting requirements for high torque transmission and compact design.
Highly integrated
Slewing drive is a highly integrated reduction mechanism capable of full-circle rotation. Due to the significant size difference between the driving and driven components, it facilitates the achievement of high gear ratios.
Reverse self-locking
Worm gear drives possess the characteristic of reverse self-locking; that is, the worm can drive the worm gear, but the worm gear cannot drive the worm.
Easy install
Pre-assembled and lubricated at the factory. Simply bolt it down, connect the motor, and operate.
