Ceramic Bearings

A ceramic bearing is a quite new type of bearing with high technology that uses ceramic materials for its rolling elements (balls or rollers) and sometimes for the inner and outer rings as well.

Ceramic bearings rings and rolling elements normally use material ZrO2, SI3N4, SIC and AI2O3 while the cage using PTFE, PEEK, UPE, PA66, SS304, SS316, Gcr15 and so on.

High temperature resistance

Ceramic bearings can operate effectively at higher temperatures than many metal bearings. They are also less affected by temperature fluctuations, maintaining performance across 100°-800° for full ceramic bearings.

Corrosion Resistance

Unlike metal bearings, ceramic bearings are highly resistant to acid, alkali,salt, seawater and other fields. This makes them ideal for use in harsh environments or with aggressive substances.

Non-Magnetic

Ceramic bearings are non-magnetic, which can be crucial in applications where magnetic interference needs to be minimized.

Electrical Insulation

They can act as electrical insulators, preventing electrical currents from passing through the bearing. This can be used in various electrical equipment requiring insulation.
