On the same day, the opening ceremony of the second phase of new energy and the signing ceremony of the third phase of Schaeffler’s Taicang manufacturing base were held. The newly launched second-phase project mainly mass-produces flat wire motors and key new energy systems and components. The newly-signed third-phase project has a total investment of 200 million euros, both of which provide product support to leading car companies. After the second and third phases of the project are fully put into operation, Schaeffler’s Taicang manufacturing base is expected to increase its annual output value by more than RMB 5 billion.
